I am doing all of the engine connections for a marriage between a Continental 65 and a Dakota Hawk, and most of it is as simple and straightforward as it gets. The one thing that I have uncertainty about is the oil temperature connection, things like: where does it connect to the back of the engine, is there a separate piece called a sending unit, and what is the connecting line, electic in nature? Anyone out there in Fishnet land have any experience with Continental 65s and know how the oil temp gauge works? As always, your comments are appreciated. Other than that, hope you all have a good 2007.
